January 2016 - MCA also approve HELM (O) training for AFS Consultants

After a formal course observation, during the delivery of a Human Element Leadership and Management (HELM) at the Operational (O) Level, the United Kingdom's Maritime and Coastguard Agency have subsequently awarded a certificate of course approval to AFS Consultants.

AFS Consultants' Director, Alan Liversedge said, "Following the suggestion by the MCA contained in MIN 493(M), which identified that 'shore side staff may also benefit from HELM training', this inaugural Operational Level course was well received by a selection of shore-based staff on a non-mandatory basis. Our approval for this course by the MCA now gives us the options to deliver both HELM(M) and HELM(O) accredited training at locations throughout the UK."
