Where did 2022 go?

In 2022 we fulfilled many assignments for on site delivery of IALA VTS model courses at South Tyneside College, Grimsby Academy, Fleetwood Nautical College, Port of London Authority, Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy (UAE) and National Maritime Academy (Damman, KSA). In addition, we delivered VTS operator courses online to Guernsey and Jersey.

Our Lloyds Register approved LPS course was delivered to clients in Ipswich, Dogger Bank, Stranraer and Portland.

We carried out VTSO annual assessments for Jersey and Belfast, and a PMSC audit at Sunderland.

We were part of the team assembled by Nash Maritime to research the port of London’s VTS equipment upgrade requirements. Also chairing a workshop on the subject for PLA VTS staff.

Along with Halcro Electronics we visited Belfast to assist in their considerations for a VTS equipment upgrade.

A consultant visited Malta to assist a newly appointed manager in establishing recruitment, training and assessments for VTS staff.
